Now this one is OLD
But I still love it, the first drawing I ever made about Louise Cooper's novels. Sepia/Paper. The third one is in the gallery as well, the second one is... I dunno where. I think I gave it to somebody but I lost trace...
It's not really a scene from the books, it's more of a summary .. Tarod growing up at Star Peninsula, Cyllan and her scrying pebbles, the star, the ancient gods, Sashka, Keridil , Jehrek (Keridil's father), Sister Erminet, Grevard, the cats etc I remember I had fun
Well i just noticed that even though i favorited this piece i never commented on it properly.
I just needed to say its absolutely breathtaking!
I never get tired of seeing it, first time i stumbled on it was about 5 years ago due to your amazing sculpture of Tarod
Every detail is there, the messenger hawks, Tarod Keridil even Themila, all captured beautifully and due to the style it seems to be a page from an old manuscript and just makes it that much more beautiful.
This piece has offered me inspiration time and time again, and i congratulate you for it as much as i thank you for it. Truly a masterpiece.
This is plain amazing. You put an amazing amount of detail and flow into this, and there's so many things to look at, I've spent quite a while just looking. Great job on this, it's jaw-dropping.
