As always Sophie you make all the old masters look like suckers n__n and i think if i found THAT in my sink i would have had to started painting the Elder sigil all over myself :D (Big Grin)

Very good take on these guys :)
I've been wanting to do a picture of one, but it's hard to get a pose that looks good. I always imagined the tentacle arms in the middle (like halfway up the trunk), and that's hellishly difficult when it comes to the view and perpective - plus I could never decide from the stories whether Lovecraft meant for there to be two wings or five. Yours are definately recognizable though - I'm sure anyone at all familiar with the story would know what they are.
