Oh my god...that animation has me laughing myself sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's my cat!
As far as FaerieCon goes, I wondered about that...it's still very new. Maybe in about three or four years? I wanted to go this year just to check it out, but couldn't. It sounded to me- based on reports from others who attended- that is was mostly about networking or just being "seen" . I think the only artists there that it was worthwhile for were those who were guest speakers.

Aww, yeah, it was pretty small but it's the first convention i have been to so i don't have much to compare it to. It was amazing to see your work in person, so i am glad you came all the same
That animation cracked me up by the way, that is totally my cat!
I kind of felt like going to Faerie would be like trying to compete with 50 more well known artists all doing similar art. It would be fun to meet people but I don't think it would make sense business-wise.
So many things went wrong it's not even funny.. They first installed some tables face to the wall ! steph law's table was like that..unreal ! we had to move them ourselves.. They then decided that the guests would be at the entrance, great idea ...not. People KNOW they are here, put them in the back so people will actually walk through the dealers room !! and I will not linger on the Us145 for one electric plug, I'm still laughing over it.
On my side, no problem, I drove here, table was cheap and I had fun.
Some booth dealers still con't cope with the results.. at us800 the booth + electricity + travel.. yaouch !

"If it weren't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in College" - Lewis Black.
is marvellously and unghastly talented and global nutcase. What's not to love ?
Not only is she a super hero fighting for humanity in its eternal struggle against viruses and stuff (no, she's not Jean Coutu) but on top of that, she doesn't sleep and spends her nights making amazing costumes, bellydancing and cooking pies. Super Hero I tell ye !
You have to see her delicate beadings (aha, delica beads ! snortgiggleguffaws) AND pencil drawings... and she's beautiful *shrugs*.
No one can describe the outwordly piraty goodness : The Salsa Queen ! So I'll shut up. Like, right now.
Oh yeah, Aaron is DA shit for sure.. but did you know he was previously known as.. the Red Wizard and was ZE ArchNemesis of the SalsaQueen ? mmmh ?
